Last week, my grandpa Helmers passed away at the age of 85. We packed up and drove home immediately to be with family. The weekend was exhausting, emotionally and physically, but was at the same time a life-affirming reminder of the most important part of life - family. My friends are my family too - I miss you all so much!
We had a flat tire on the way home yesterday, and here is a funny picture of my guys waiting for AAA.
