Excited? Why yes I am!

I would just like to post, well because everyone else is!

News from the home front. Things in Bloomington are great! I am staying quite busy with research, which for those of you who don't know is on chocolate milk and exercise recovery. I have learned tons about chocolate and we all need to eat more of it....Lizzy, I know that doesn't float your boat, but wines, red and white, have the same great antioxidants in them too! Hopefully I will be able to enjoy the IUOP for more than the noon swim once the data collection is over!

Other than the chocolate milk project, I am in the final writings of my thesis and will defend it this summer. After that is over, I plan on breathing and enjoying just working on chocolate and of course frequenting the IUOP!

I am still leading group exercise classes and I help with some coaching of CCiST. Louisa Raisbeck is the head coach, and its pretty much coached by all the grad students with a passion for swimming. The club has really grown this last year and we are hopeful for a successful summer! Although coaching is great, I am stepping back a bit this summer to concentrate mostly on research.

What I am mostly excited for is to see all the great ladies this summer. In two weeks Bloomington will be visited by some of its most faithful! I can say I am ready to see my ladies, and their gents! Can't wait for all of you to come! The above picture is my godson Charlie, he is about 7 months old now, just thought you would all like that one! Oh, and you should all know that I run like the wind especially when drinking (as seen in this fabulous pic!)
