Hello Ladies!I just checked the blog today and understood what it truly feels like to fall off the face of the planet....really.
Above you see my brother, my niece, Allie (now 71/2 months old) and myself at our lake place in northern Michigan. The second photo is of Mike and I at a wedding in northern Michigan at the end of July.
The summer was good but short......too short!
I still hold my job (and started my 3rd year) as Compliance Coordinator at Oakland University in their athletic department. That keeps me busy during the day, and I'm still coaching swimming for the local YMCA swim club 3 nights a week and on the weekends.
I now live with Mike's sister, Jenn, and it feels like I'm back in college all over again, just with more restrictive bed times! We had a third roommate, but recently she has decided to move out. The reason is a funny story that belongs on a reality tv episode, that i'll have to tell you over a few drinks for a good laugh :-)
It's been fun reading the blog and catching up on everyone. I'm going to the IU vs. Michigan State football game in East Lansing in a few weeks. Other than that, I want to look into the weekend in November that Mags has decided to head down.....or up......or over....depending on who you are!
Leezard: Diver Mamie is getting married the same day you are in Bloomington.....how funny is that?!!
Mike is doing fantastic, and the family life is well. I LOVE being an Auntie!!!! I see her every week on my lunch break when my mom takes care of her on Thursdays.
I hope you all are doing well and I miss each and every one of you. I promise to be better about posting in the future.......and checking postings in the future!!!
