Ever hopeful...

I just wanted all you ladies to know; I religiously check every blog on that right-hand column, everyday, hoping for an update. I know, I know, I am a bit obsessive, as evidenced by the fact that I have 2 blogs which get updated up to 11 times a month, so I do not expect anyone to be that psychotic about posting, nor do I really have the time (some months) to read that much. I just wanted to let you know, there is someone out there who cares. If I could, I would call all of you up at least once a month to see how your life is going. I love the little things. I could really care less about jobs, careers, school, etc. I want to know what crazy person you bumped into on the bus, or how much you can't stand the person in the cubicle, office, desk next to you. Blah, blah, blah.

I think I post so much, because I am trying to project what I desire onto everyone else.

Anyway, no pressure, just wanted to let you know, I do, truly enjoy every single post provided, on every single blog.

As for the boring stuff, in case it is not clear, I am still in medical school. I am in my 3rd year. This means, each month I rotate with a different doctor, in a different specialty, in Kansas City. I have completed 2 months of Internal Medicine, 1 month of Family Medicine and am currently on my Psychiatry rotation. I have had quite a bit of time off, because I have lucked out and and each of my docs has taken some sort of vacation during the month. Still to go: OB/Gyn, Pathology, another Family Med, Pediatrics, and 2 Surgery rotations. Then a break for Step 2 of the boards exams. Then 9 more months of rotating in the specialt(ies) of my choice, then graduation in May 2011.
