Jason and I are expecting a BABY! :) I am coming up on 15 weeks and am due around August 31, 2010! Um-pretty darn perfect swimming birthday from an aging up perspective if you ask me! And, the best part is that Jason will be done with his MBA program come May-yeah!! OMG-just announced it on FB. Weird!! :)
We are actually going to wait to find out the sex of the baby until delivery--so the suspense will last a little bit longer. We are so excited either way (although from what I hear here, there is a drought on girls!) Go Team Green!
We have decided to call our little guy or gal, for now, Baby Butchelito. I thought it was cute-to showcase the fact that it will be 1/4 Mexican. My dad then informed me that it roughly translates to "Little Esophagus". Oh well-We still love it! :)
I am excited to be out of the first trimester/worry zone and I am finally getting over the all day nausea (these days sausage links, pepperoni, and burgers are what makes me and Butchelito feel better) and am finally starting to see a bump form. So looking a little less doughboy! :) Trying to get a bit more traveling in--although no crazy adventures across the pond this time. Have a Cali/PCH 1 trip planned for April and then have signed up to see 6 baseball games in 6 different stadiums on the Eastern Seaboard in May to celebrate Jason's graduation. I am a great wife... ;)

Congrats Charlene! How exciting! And yes, I'd agree, August is one of the best months for the aging-up process us swimmers go through!

YAY!! There really is nothing I can say except that I am really, really excited for you guys. (I have been waiting for this post ever since you commented on my "Baby Fever" post months and months ago. Anytime someone admits to baby fever, conception is not far to follow...ha!)
I would also like to add, that I am more than likely heading into the field of OB/Gyn, so if you have any questions you forget to ask your doc, or think are too stupid, I would love to help where I can!
