3 down, 1 to go

Hey everybody, I thought I would give this blogging thing a shot. I just finished my 3rd year of med school. We get around 2 weeks off before my 4th and final year starts, so I have spent all of my time traveling around so far. I spent time in South Bend with the fam for my little brother's college graduation (wow, that will make you feel old), then Rich and I headed to Destin, Fl for around a week, and then went and hung out in Boonville with my parents for the last couple of days before returning to Indy tonight. Rich and I had a great time in Florida. It was sunny the whole time, and also windy enough that you could stay at the beach all day without getting too hot. We also had some great seafood there, which is my favorite thing to eat. I thought of a lot of you girls while I was there because we drove past some of the locations that many of us went to when we visited Maggie's condo in Ft. Walton during spring break 2003...McGuire's Irish pub, the Swamp(home of the famous foam party), and many others! But now it is back to the real world as I start back up with school on Friday. I know Kristy and Geers are planning on visiting Bloomington the June 23rd weekend and I think Dorp and I are going down to join them. With Cass, Colleen, and Fido already there it should be a fun reunion if anyone else wants to come and join us!

Oh yeah, I do have one more bit of news...Rich proposed to me on our last night in Florida while we wear walking on the beach, and I said YES! It was perfect, just as I would have wanted it done. He caught me by surprise as we hadn't looked at rings yet. He did a very nice job in picking out a ring on his own. We haven't done any wedding planning yet, but we are thinking about possibly May of next year after my med school graduation and before we move to start my residency. I will keep you all updated as I know more! =)
