Exciting month in the Woessner world ... my brother and Noelle will add a new addition (a girl!) in August ... I just short of done with my first year of graduate school ... and I will be spending the month of August in Beijing at the Olympics!
Through my boss at USA Swimming, I have been hired by NBC to work in their research center doing work for aquatics sports: swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, triathlon, water polo, and open water. I'm not sure of my responsibilities past that right now and I am little nervous about that! I will be over there from July 28 to August 26, returning just in time to start my second year on August 27. Whew!

Suz,
That is amazing that you get to go to to the Olympics! Will you get to go to the events that you are researching? How cool is it that you will be working for NBC! We want lots of updates!

Nice Susan!! As far as swimming goes, I don't really think you need to do any research - if it is like "good old times", you'll know it all in advance:-)
Sounds like the best opportunity ever - I am sure it will be both interesting and a lot of fun..
